2005 Accord HID Retrofit Pics

Since I had toug time getting hold of the owner of the 3rd gen lights to get an approval to go ahead with his HID/angel eyes retro job, I spent some time on these Accord lights....here are some pics of my latest creation.

After trying out numerous bezels/shrouds, I decided to go with MDX shrouds. However, I had to do some fabrication as the MDX shroud opning is much larger than the TSX lense. I took care that by using my old trick of double layering a bezel & shroud:

Once you put them together, they fit perfectly over the TSX lense.

With the shrouds done, everything is coming together now!

Now let's see the final product!!!

Hopefully, the next retrofilt post I start will be the finished 3rd gen lights! I'm going to spend time on them next week now that the owner cofirmed that he is happy with what I have done (which I shared with you guys too already) so far.

you should've changed the orange reflecter while you had it open.

nice work! Quick ?, how do you keep from scratching the clear plastic covering on all the headlights you've done so far? Everytime I open a set up, they always end up with little tiny scratches

I put saran wrap on mine while I work on the lights. Take 'em off when I put it in the oven of course. Excellent work as usual man! Projectors fit more nicely on the accords I think.

I just do what the owner asks! He wants the OEM look and orange reflector is definitely OEM...

I actually never had issues with scratching the lense...but I also use Saranwrap when I'm working with the reflectors to ebsure that I don't scratch the chrome in the areas that are not going to be touched by the retrofit (like the high beam reflector).

Wait until my current 3rd gen retro is done! They will look hot!!!
