Well I finally installed mine and I will have pics soon but this morning I noticed a big problem and I know this is not going to sound right. I noticed the acceleration is very sluggish on my way to work and discovered that when you depress the gas all the way down the extra boost/downshift in manual mode does not work and so I got to work and got out of the car and sure enough the bulbs were acting crazy. First of all, when the car is on and the lights are on...the brakes are lit which I'm assuming is causing the acceleration problem. And second, when I turn the lights off but leave the car on...the bulbs on the LED's are still lit but not the brake light and they are extremely dim which is weird because they should not be getting any power right?
If anybody knows what is causing this, please your help would be greatly appreciated and I'm going to call autolumination today to get any answers also...hopefully this didn't mess up anything eletrical and void my warranty as I will be completely pissed.
I'm going to drive the car in a bit again with the lights off to see if the bulbs is causing my acceleration problem. Other than all that...I LOVE THE LIGHTS, they shine slightly brighter since they fill-out more light in the reflector but the brake lights I noticed is not as bright...they just fill-out more. The super star white license plate lights are extremely nice as well and I should have pics up sometime this weekend.
Whoa, you might have a bigger problem there than just the LED's. Sounds like your brakes are always activated or something, which absolutely should not be effected by making a bulb switch that many others already have done. You should definitely get that looked at.
The thing about the LED's is that they draw less power, so I don't see why they'd bog down your horsepower any.
Cool, thanks for clearing that up. That's what I was hoping for.
Ugh, yes, don't fall victim to the evil Air Bag light issue
nyfelix87 - Explain exactly what setup you have there
Extreme Blue headlights and fog lights...
6k high beams.
But since the car was in an accident and I dont have it anymore... I got tired of the extreme blue, so now my set up is 8k low beams and fog lights and 6k in the high beams.... I'll post some pictures up eventually of the altima.

No problem bring it on, do you know what I have in my car? So before you make that nice u-turn dont think you are the only one with something in the car.
I have hid highbeams not to drive with them on 24/7 like an asshole but when I do need them I turn them on! SO before you make a statement ask the question of how I use them while driving, before assuming how I use them.

@ missouriguy & gator
Nope the problem IS the LED's. I got off work today and drove home with the lights off and sure as shit...everything worked perfectly fine. As soon as I turned on the lights it went back to the way it was this morning and heres an easy way to figure this out as I have tried it today too (Please don't physically try this unless you know what you are doing too as it may cause an accident). for you CVT guys, engage your brake just enough to make the pedal "click" and activate the brakelights and hit the gas as hard as you can while moving. If you are in manual mode when you do this, the car will downshift but in this case it does not as it is a safety feature. So pretty much when the car is on and the lights are on...its fooling the car into thinking the brakes are activated thus making the car accelerate very sluggish since it cannot downshift.
I'm gonna pull the lights out now and see if I reverse the polarity if it will help which I doubt and if I do have the same problem, then I will send them back to autolumination as something is terribly wrong with them. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks
I sure am, however im just saying, the super blue looks obnoxious. It looks like your missing a set of strobe neons that blink with the bass of your music. And theres a difference between a baseball bat for property damage (and occasionally scaring people) and a gun (im assuming) for personal damage. I only bought a baseball bat after i came home one night and i saw a bunch of guys trying to break in through my back door. I live in a good neighborhood next to a very bad one so theres a LOT of unwanted company drifting through.
On top of that. Further pictures. I had to piss pretty bad and didn't want to wait for the damn thing to fully focus. And i didnt have the camera in the right mode but the picture works.
If it was any brighter i wouldn't like them as much but its perfect. Wide angle and pure white, nothing flashy, just makes it look higher end.
Ha well you think your pictures were bad...wait till you see mine. BTW I was messing with the camera and just could not get the settings to work right for me plus it was late at night and I just didn't feel like fixing it so they will be extremely blurry but I just want to show how mine came out both in the car and outside with a side-by-side comparison of stock vs LED's. Honestly I wanted red for the interior since I'm kinda going for a Silver/Black/Red theme but I have a Rockford Fosgate Bass Controller that has a pretty bright blue LED so I decided on blue for the interior, plus I have a blue neon in the trunk for the Tank/Compressor setup so I thought to keep the blue look not to mention that it is extremely bright and really stands out in a crowd. I think the blue LED can be seen farther than the taillights lol through 25% tint lol.
Also, my taillights are redout and then smoked from Bat's overlays so you can see how the LED's stack up.
The puddle lights are crazy bright...soo bad that the camera couldn't focus no matter what I did.
Personally, I love this pic with all the lights off and just the interior. I may have to do a video walkthrough to give a better view.
Stock on left, LED on right for both tails and license plate with no brakes.
Brakes applied and I noticed the stock lights are brighter than LED's and BTW the spoiler light is LED.
Interior and Exterior LED's COMPLETE!
Hey therupp...you do know what I'm talking about right? For us CVT guys especially in Manual mode, when we depress the gas pedal all the way down till it clicks...the car will downshift to assist with acceleration and what I was saying in my last post is that the computer prevents this from happening when the brake is applied. I'm pretty sure that something is shorting out in the LED's which is causing the brake light to be applied when power is applied to them. I pulled them out and swapped them, flipped them, tried one at a time and could not get it down to being isolated to one bulb so I'm sending them back. I dunno if I'm going to get another set however because they don't seem much brighter to me when the brakes are applied so they really won't help for what I need. The only benefit to them is that they fill-out the lens more since the light is more directed than stock. Which does make them seem brighter but I'm really not convinced. The license plate is great and you can see the comparison. Other than that thanks for all your help and appreciate the comments.
wow. you're not only an idiot, you're a hypocrite. stop while you're ahead. which isn't by much.
Other guys was exterior which is distracting. Nissans for life is interior which only even goes on when his car is stopped and he opens up his doors.
