I figured the more the merrier, even though that's not true lol jk. I figured I'd get the most even lighting out of that bulb, which would create the most halogen-like lighting field, since I'm putting these in a reflective housing, not just a forward-firing port.

Ooh, any release date details..?

No, I didn't. I'm still using 55w bulbs in there, not the 70w that most people buy from Hoen.

Thanks for the comments guys...

I can't wait for someone to make actual LED tails (think Infiniti G) for the fourth gen.

Are the led tails light bulbs are brighter than the regular factory bulbs?

To add to the question above. Is it redder than the stock bulbs? I'd think that it'll look nicer if it has a deeper red tone to it.

High Powered Leds

(Note: Led fog & running lights are for show and color only. Although these are the brightest led fog and running lights made, they are not as bright as halogen bulbs).

That, and some projectors...

Definitely. While they might not appear brighter, they actually throw light further and light up significantly more behind me than the stocks did.

Yes, absolutely without question. These put off pretty much the purest red tone out there, so they're red to begin with, plus the red housing helps a bit too.

Those were the other ones I was going to try, but I was debating on how they would fit and if they'd open all the way in our tail light housing...But if the tower ones look that good I'm probably going to just get those...

I'm really curious about those spider bulbs as well, but I wasn't sure they'd be enough since the taillight housing is reflector-based.

Nope, I haven't changed either one of those yet. I'm planning on it, but I have to run resistors on the turn signals, which I don't quite know how to do. I'll get around to it though. I'll be using 194 for the backups and 3157 amber for the turn signal when I do.

The lip spoiler is the factory lip spoiler, so it came LED equipped already. I'm going to be installing one of these though: Clear 3rd brakelight

No need to apologize, that's what a forum is for anyway, right? Learning.

A resistor basically fools the electrical system into thinking it's getting the same amount of power, since the LED's use a fraction of the power that a conventional bulb does.

The only reason you'd need to run resistors is if the vehicle had a bulb out indicator on the dashboard, which the Nissan's don't, so I didn't have to run one to the brake lights (or the reverse lights if I did them).

You would, however, have to do it to the turn signal bulbs to prevent it from flashing too quickly, better known as "hyperflash". You'll see this on cars that have a turn signal bulb out somewhere in the circuit. The speed of the flash relies on a certain amount of power, so if it's getting too little power, it'll start flashing quickly. This is the same effect if you installed an LED in the car, since LED's use less power.

So, this is where the resistor comes in. The resistor tricks the electrical system into thinking that it's getting the correct amount of power, so the turn signals will flash at the correct speed.
