adding some more black to the altima

i have the whole black and gray thing going on and was thinking of how i could get creative a little more.

i already want to have the roof painted (need to see how much thatd cost for a professional job)

my questions are, what do you guys think about a black hood if the roof and grill are black to match? i could pick up a super black hood at a JY for cheap. dont want to overlay it. looks tacky on such a large area.

also, i see a lot of 3rd gens have the lower portion of the front bumper blacked out in the center. what would you guys think about that on a 4th gen? the area is different so it may not look good. this is what im talking about...

here are some pics to photoshop the hood and roof black..if someone could help me out with that, id appreciate it.

what if you painted the whole lower 1.5 inches of the cars outline black. follow the line of the flat fender, all the way around the bottom of the front and rear bumpers and side sills.

edit: nevermind. lol. I just looked at it more carefully and that'd be awful.

what did you use to black out the trim? black vinyl?

i used that black out tape stuff but towards the back of the trim it started to peel so i just took it off.

i used two different thins. on the thin chrome pieces i used that black out tape stuff. then for the bigger piece in the back i used sheets of flat black vinyl. only thing thatd fit. i was thinking of taking it all off and painting them. im sure a body shop would paint them for like $50 too.
