Well i finally got around to getting some pics of my car. i waited til i had the car all one color to take pics of her, so here she is w/ a mod list:

so just got my car out of the paint shop. color wasn't exactly what i wanted but it'll do for the time being. I got tired of my panda car.. black front bumper, c/f hood, and black trunk. so i decided to go w/ satin black unfortunately it turned out more like a flat black.

mods:
Fi-R vq swap
headers
250mm clutch
CAI
VRS 3in exhaust
tein SS
Fi-R solid f/r mm's
Fi-R shifter bushings
Fi-R nylatron mm's
Fi-R Xmember bushings
sprayed c/f hood
VIAS block off plate
d/s rotors

future:
better satin black paint job
motor rebuild
-cams
-pistons
-pnp heads
-reflash then eventually standalone
-other misc stuff
NWP IM spacers
Fi-R CNC shifter bushings
5 lug conversion
lightweight rims
sparco seats
maybe c/f trunk

so here's the most updated pics taken 7/30/09:

shots from the FL megameet 8/1/09
thanks to daniel: WWW.DSM.COM for the pics

engine shots will come another time, sorry.
here's an engine shot:

enjoy and thanks for looking

yes very fun to drive

i took my car to travis. Any one can do it but the question is will they be able to get ahold of the custom mounts and the wiring is the most difficult part.

well travis runs different promo's throughout the year. I paid a lil less than 5g's. he ran a sale for $4k w/ all the bolt-ons plus 250mm clutch. i had to pay extra for the immobilizer unit and a recut key w/ chip and i bought a vrs exhaust for around $495. so for the motor running it came out to about $4.7-$4.8k. he has other packages but i didn't have the other funds at the time. im in the process of saying another 4-5g's for a built cammed motor.

travis- included the motor, his custom adapters and solid nylatron mounts. also did the wiring which he just got the swap to be codeless now. still working on a fix for cruise control

I'm not sure how much it would cost to drop into an alti. he's never done it on an alti only on sentra se r spec-v's and maxi's.

the paint job is no where near to being a great paint job. it was through a friend of a friend. so i paid $400. once i'm done w/ building the motor then i'll be looking into painting it through a better shop for a satin black finish instead of a job that came out looking flat black.
I haven't ran it yet at the strip or a roadcourse. I want to but i just haven't really had the time to get around to a strip or track. if i was to run a 1/4, i think i could get into the 13's for sure. maybe mid to high since thats what a lot of vq swaps are running. then add on a few more mods and DR's maybe a low 13. then lower w/ a built motor.

the only side its really tight on is the passenger side where the belts are. Other than that it has enough room on the other sides.

theres been a few turbo'd vq's in sentras already. first one used the vq30 and the other 2 or 3 are running vq35's.

satin has a sheen to it.. not a full gloss but does have some what of a shine i guess you can say. flat has no gloss or sheen to it.

the vq's are from staytuned. they have some vids but not sure if its of start up or any runs.

the only vids i know of for sure is vq35's na and the vq30de-T. look up
trav4011 on youtube.

you can maybe try to look up staytuned on youtube for any vid's
