"158", "168", "194", "T10" and "W5W" are practically the same type of bulb. I've noticed that numerous people wanted to convert to LEDs here is a link that should help in bulb selection and installation. Welcome | Altima Modders

Yes, dont ask me why but they are because I've ordered all of them online when I was in the market for converting to LEDs.

The 3.5L requires premium
it is recomended, NOT required. With the price of gas these days, you should not tell ppl they HAVE to put in premium.

From owners manual 9-3
Quote:
For 3.5L
NISSAN recommends the use of premium unleaded
gasoline with an octane rating of at least
91 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (Research
octane number 96). If unleaded premium gasoline
is not available, you may use unleaded regular
gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 AKI
number (Research octane number 91), but you
may notice a decrease in performance.

with the design of this engine bay, a heat shiled wont really make much of a difference if any. If you think about it, the surrounding air is the same temps. Since the filter isnt completely shielded its still drawing in the same temp air as all the others without a shield.

Damn, the graphics kit (and the girl of course ) looks pretty damn good on the 07s, definitely next on my list after the Injen intake. Those remind me of the coupe rims, I hope they're the new NISMO wheels.

I posted this in another thread, but Nissan themselves turbocharged a Murano in Europe. Provided that the CVT in the Murano and the Altima are identical, and that they didn't mess with it too much, it should be able to at least handle something...

i think i've read on this forum that the altima's CVT is a newer version of the CVT found in the murano, i dont know if that means capable of same power outputs or less or the same.
