LEDS and O-Nex/ XenTec HID kit (pics to be added...)

hey guys well my autolumination lights came in today and they look great. perfect look for the car and makes it look like $1,000,000. i also just purchased an o-nex 6000k HID kit from their site so that should be here this week.

here are a few pics. some may not be the BEST quality because i really had to get into the house...i will get better ones tomorrow if there is a request.

^^^front map lights

^^^ rear map lights

^^^ rear with doors open

for those of you who have wondered what they looked like on a darker color car, here you go. not as bright as i would have hoped but its a definite improvement over stock.

^^^ plate close up

^^^light reflection on bumper

here are the Hoens i currently have in the car vs. the stock halogens i took out (the o-nex HIDs will be here on Wednesday im assuming.)

^^^stock

^^^Hoen xenonmatch H11 bulbs

here is a link to the reverse light install.

Lol if you want to call it that. I always thought the interior dash was more orange. I only got green because almost everybody i know has blue. And plus i like green better then blue.

Ive personally been thinking about changing the map lights out for ultra white LEDs, just to get rid of the yellowness to the interior when the lights are on.

You expect I should see much difference? Im also thinking of changing the lights out in the back seat to white LEDs. I just don't know if I can justify spending $36 bucks on light bulbs...

i got an amazing deal on my led's so i didnt mind so much. its a matter of priorities. if you want to save you money for something big then dont. if you want to do the little things to make the car look better that way then go for it. the way i see it is that you can spend hundreds on bolt ons but the average joe isnt going to know you have a stillen exhaust or a SRI etc, but they will notice the cheap upgrades like the led interior/exterior and HIDs, tints, and overlays...stuff like that. pics uploading as we speak...

Oh so you did put interior lights. Question, when you turn everything off, does your LEDs emit a glow? Like its less then half of how bright it is when everything is on but even when i lock the car and the lights go off, i can still see green through the plastic, and when i took the plastic off, one out of the 6 LED tower is still lit, EXTREMELY dimly though. When you turn off your car, do any of the LEDs stay on or do they shut off completely?

when i put them in i noticed the same thing. i never turned the car on during the install and still saw the dim light when everything was off. strange enough i only saw it when i had the cover off. maybe because my lights are white and blend into the cover (kinda) i didnt see them so i cant say for sure if they turn off after a while or are constantly on. i dont know what they would be drawing a current from...

I was originally thinking that maybe the LEDs use less watts so theres leftover power and it stays on for a bit longer, but then i threw in a diff pair of LEDs from a diff place and they turned off completely. So i just ordered ANOTHER set, 20 bucks in total, 6 LEDs from v-leds.com. Hopefully they will work.

Front interior and puddle lights. I only have interior, license plate frame, and the trunk light but everything turns off expect for the puddle lights and the 2 front map lights.

Looking good... can't wait to see the O-Nex kit

I really hate how cameras make all of our white LED's look blue
