Automatic Windows Question

I have a 2008 Altima Hybrid. One night when I was giving my friend a ride he opened the window to throw some thing out. I did not see him sticking his hand and I closed the window (from driver side). The window went up touched his hand and went down half way. I tried the same from my side and it did the same thing. Forgot to check it in the back, although I think it should work as well.

I am also very interested in remote start. Any suggestion where, how and how much can I do it?
It will be good time saving, sense I park my car in front of my house and wile I am making coffee to go the car can warm up.
