Now, if you actually put on that air intake, they are just going to make you take it off too. Maybe the rental car is the way to go, or can you borrow a friends car for the times your parents come around?

I would say that the combination will be louder. Most of the noise will come from the intake itself as most people here have told you that nismo is one of the quieter exhausts you can get. Good luck

If you had been easy on the accelerator while they were in the car they probably wouldnt have noticed it.

I figure it out ! One way to let them not notice is hit hard from 0-40 and go easy at 40 .......uhm....and turn on music louder so they would be distracted hehehe.

2.5 inch vehicle resonator, AR25, Exhaust Systems. Will it fit perfectly on my Nismo exhaust without cutting some pipes out ?

I wouldn't agree with that. I have the Nismo on a 2.5L and it is loud (in the cabin) when accelerating or when the engine is under load. Driving by myself with the radio on, it is fine but noticable until cruising speeds. Add a wife, 2 kids and some groceries and the 2.5 is contantly under load and the exhaust is really loud most all the time even when giving only a slight amount of pedal. This is in part due to the engine size so I would be curious if the 3.5 is as loud.

I'm with you. It is ok to have 2 people in the car tho. The back of the car keeps shaking, everytime i accelerate with more people on the back. This is why my mom feels uncomfortable. Next time. i go for the Z instead. ---> no more complaint from parents.

don't they make silencers also? I though they had those in muffler shops....and for the record, nothing wrong with living with the parents even if you did, hell I do, and yeah i could have paid $1100 to rent a 400 sq ft apartment instead of buying the alti....but hey, the house offers car parts storage and free dinner, no need to rush out when you live with the whole fam and everyone gets along and chips in
