Is it freshly installed? It'll quiet down after a hundred miles or so.

It has almost 500 miles. The noise mostly because of the intake.

I think the exhaust kinda sounded like a civic with a fart can there at the end of the video, its too high pitched and ricer sounding for me. Definately not trying to rip on it, i just like lower tones. Did you notice a good performance gain from those installs?

uh that sounded nothing like a fart can to me just sounds like quality nismo. besides the nismo i think this is the best sounding exhaust ive heard installed on the altimas so far: YouTube - 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5SE Borla Exhaust

Yeah I have seen that borla video before and I like the sound a lot better but I think its a little bit TOO loud. Theres a guy on here somewhere named Jason that was supposed to be posting a vid of his custom magnaflow exhaust that I really want to hear.

Why don't you just do the searching on youtube.

^ thats a pretty nice custom job. despite the low price of magnaflows it seems from what i hear to be quite decent. i might still go with a custom borla job over the magnaflows though. the quote i got would only be a $50-80 increase if i went with the borlas.

If you feel the magnaflows are too cheap, go for the flowmasters. They are similar but the flowmasters are the higher quality mufflers in my opinion. As for the youtube videos, yeah those are all on 2.5's the other guy was gonna post one up on his 3.5. Should sound a bit different.

Does the coupe have 2 mufflers or just one? I don't think I like that sound as much as other Nismo exhaust clips for the sedans that I have heard...Sounds a bit ricey to me for some reason, and what's up with the popping noise in it?

I think I like the Borla sound better than the Nismo, even though that sounds really loud...it's a deeper tone though and sounds more racey than ricey...

Coupes have two mufflers. I wonder what flowmaster 40 series sounds like on these cars. My friend had them on his camaro a while back and they sounded excellent.
