Talking New 08 Altima CVT Winter Forst Owner!

I got the 2.5S package and I am loving the car! I am doing 25mpg mixed driving (highway and streets) in Los Angeles. I am amazed. I traded in my 02 Maxima 6spd and yes I miss my old baby's power and performance but I had to take a smart approach with gas prices eventually hitting 5 bucks at the end of the year (according to business week). I was doing close to 19mpg on my Maxima so it is somewhat of a change.

I am getting my windows tinted this weekend and have purchased a stock looking oem rear spoiler on Ebay (it comes painted!). Also, I am really tempted on getting Bronze 19 inch rims with a chrome lip on the ride (I am tired of seeing black on white and chrome on white) to really make my ride stand out. I am checking out the following:

Enkei Evo 5 Bronze Gloss Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.com

or

Azul Speed_5 Gold Gloss Wheel Rim at WheelsNext.comIf anyone has rims with similar style on white that would be so freaking cool to see. I am excited about my new ride! (splat open up the champagne!).

Here are some pix of my new partner in crime!

Congrats.

I would highly go with some bigger rims for a sedan maybe 18s or 19s x8/8.5 with a nice offset.

Just wandering what you paid for the vehicle, I am in negotiations with a couple of dealers for almost the same car.

THANKS

Well I paid $22,450 for my ride. It was $24450 but they gave me a $2k reinvestment (Glendale Nissan in California). I think it was a deal since it comes with the sunroof, steering wheel controls, auto controls on the seats, alloy wheels.

Being in California, you could have bought an Altima Hybrid and gotten another 12 miles more per gallon...taken a $2,350 tax credit (depends on your status) and whatever incentives there are in California. In PA I got $500 in cash for purchasing an Altima Hybrid.

Yeah but don't forget the $5000 price premium over the 2.5S...

I probably would've gone Hybrid if I A. Lived in a state that offered it, and B. Wanted a 2.5
