I'm looking for red rotors for my alti, and painting reg ones is def WAAAAAAAY cheaper than buying new ones. Plus, i haven't seen any red rotors yet LOL
You mean the calipers, right? the rotor is the surface that the brake pad presses against to create friction. I've know people that have painted their calipers before. Just remove the pads, cover all the moving parts/boots/nipples with tape and spray them with high temp paint.

I painted the rotor hats (hub part) along with the calipers a couple of years ago using VHT Caliper paint after cleaning them up really good. A cardboard stencil can be used to keep the spray off of the rotor surface.

LOL those are not painted, that is just the color of the metal... Do yourself a favor and do not paint the surface that you brake pads contact to make the car stop. Paint the hub part if you want, but not the eitire rotor.

ummm...even if youpainted the rotor..it would come off really fast in less than a few stops...because the pads are always grinding on the rotrs...and constantly taking very small layers of of it.....not to mention ur vehicle would probably have a hard time stopping!!!! ooopsssss!!!! lol..i painted my calipers royal blue ..
I used sears easy living exterior paint on my rotors and tires. Looks great
