Yea, but I gets mad respect.
It also means people like the cars, they're selling, which will play into someone's decision when thinking of buying a car. The Alti looks good, is comfortable, has good power(even in the 2.5) and is very safe. I'd rather get in an Alti-cab than an Aveo or Yaris or something.

Lexus makes hybrids too, so I got to say that Lexus makes the best looking hybrids and today I actually saw one of these Altima hybrid cabs here in L.A. but it was different than that yellow one it was in that style paint
Wow this cab look nice. I am a cab owner/driver myself in San Francisco California. The new law came out that all new taxi cars in San Francisco have to be Hybrid or CNG. Personally I think that Altima is the best way to go right now. Lots of space in side, easily fits 3 people in the back unlike Prius or civic. I bought 2008 Altima Hybrid with only one thing on my mind that in 2 more years I am going to make a taxi out of it. Thanks to the new law in San Francisco I started charging extra money from 2 of my drivers.
yep, if i were a cabby i'd be all over altima. there isn't another hybrid with similar efficiency/performance/utility/space on the market. they're awesome for cabs!

altima cabs making them more common than they already are? not possible. they are already arguably the most common car on the road today.
It would be very hard for the Altima to be most common car on the road, since they NEVER have outsold the competition. Camrys and Civics and Accords are everywhere. In May, the Altima was seventh, behind not only the Civic, the Camry, and the Accord, but also the Corolla, and the Ford and Chevy trucks.

Watch that move up to 5 as people ditch the trucks.
