Good? Well... it depends on what you qualify as good... there is a place called "The Varsity" that has been there since the beginning of time, and it is a landmark, but I wouldn't necessarily call it "good".
perhaps we should pry and see what you need in order to make it work, could be exactly what you're doing, kind of a waste of money if it's the same exact thing
hey, good find, it seems like it's going to exactly be like what you did GT, you should start selling the directions as well....hold up, let me download your instructions first, hahaha
Here is a question for you in regards to the navigation hack. Since it is the speed sensor that we are disconnecting from the Nav unit, will this affect the speed sensing volume feature on the radio?

Question 1: I was wondering if doing this will void my warranty in any way?
Also, you mentioned that this enabled you to watch a DVD while moving. I'm more interested in having the disabled buttons always enabled while moving. Can your instructions show me how to do that as well?
Answer 1: Technically this will not void your warranty, because you are modifying the wiring behind the unit. According to the Magnuson-Moss Act, if there is a problem with the system the dealer has to prove that you were the cause of the problem. Regardless, using my method, you will make it seem like there are no modifications, should you need to bring the car in for service.
Btw... yes you will be able to enter information into the system when your moving.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Question 2: So, I just want to confirm. This not only unlocks the DVD functionality but also the disabled navigation functionality while moving?
Answer 2: One of my techs just informed me that there have been some unexpected complications, which were not present in his vehicle before. We are going to be inspecting this and finding the exact cause to these issues. Due to this I need to make sure that this guide is not going to replication these problems in my customers cars. Please note that this problem arose 2 months after the mod. So there is going to be some debugging involved.
This was followed-up by the guy ending the auction early.
