Is it wrong to want to dim down the garage lights over my altima ....light a few candles....put on No Mercy's "Kiss you all over", crack open a bottle of Courvoisier (no driving!), and then see where it goes from there? Not that I have these thoughts....but if I did...is that wrong? I don't think my Altima minds....

"I wanna kiss you all over
And over again
I wanna kiss you all over
Till the night closes in
Till the night closes in"

Hi All,

Anyone buy the 2.5SL or the 3.5SE in Canada? If yes, how much did you guys pay.

Thanks

Dhruv

Just a quick comment/question, what is the deciding factor between those two for you? Why go with a fully loaded 2.5 vs a 3.5?

I bought the 3.5 SE full load exc.nav.
Car, undercoating, rustproof pkg., leather protection, paint protection, GST, blah, blah, blah $39,500.
Good or bad I don't know. What I do know, is that none of the dealerships or should I say stealerships here would move a whole lot on the price. The economy here is so good right now I think they can get away with it.

Hey...this is a price thread so I thought I'd solicit you guys' opinions. I priced a 3.5 SE w/ technology package and VDC, and e-mailed the dealer with it. This is the reply below...sticker was about $32k. What do you think? Is this close to what people are paying? It's about $40/month more than what I pay for my RX-8 right now, and I had to put $3000 down for that. This is in MI btw

John,

I have a Nissan Altima that is equipped as you requested
at our Farmington Hills location. Using the VPP discount and
with 15,000 miles per year we can lease you this Nissan Altima
for $458 per month with $0 down and only $672 due at lease signing.
This vehicle is Dark Slate w/ Charcoal interior (no black/black available).

This price & payment is only good today & tomorrow.

We are open until 6pm tonight and from 10am - 3pm Saturday.

When can you come in and meet with Rick?

Actually the question is not for me personally. Its for my friend who is planning to upgrade from his current 2000 Honda Accord i4. He said he took a test-drive of the Altima 2.5S and found it to be slower than his Accord :S.

The dealer has quoted him CAD $ 33859 for the 3.5SE. The only reason he looked at the 2.5 was to save money on gas...and I told him how its not that big of a difference...

But yea..so I was wondering what other members in Canada are paying for the 2007 Alti.

Dhruv

It looks like you are trying to lease, but as far as the numbers go. $32k is sticker, but you should be able to get it for closer to $28k right now. March 31st is the end of Nissan's fiscal year, hence why the offer expires tomorrow. Get them to sweat a little, and you'll be able to do it for cheaper.

$33859 is where you start before you add everything else in. There is only 5 MPG diff between the two.
