There's roughly $4000 diff in price between the 3.5 & 2.5. If $ isn't the issue then he should go with the 3.5 SE. Nice power and I felt a difference in the suspension as well. The car just seems to hold the road better.

canton has a history of trouble, smyrna has rock solid cars
I believe Consumer Reports mentioned this in one of there car articles but I believe they were referring to the trucks that were produced there.
I wouldn't worry about an '07, or even a late '06 Altima produced at Canton. According to Ward's Auto, the Canton plant has undergone a close scrutiny of production problems and taken extra steps to prevent mistakes. Anyway, Consumer Reports mentioned this in an auto article I read and inferred the problems were in the truck division there.
It looks like you are trying to lease, but as far as the numbers go. $32k is sticker, but you should be able to get it for closer to $28k right now. March 31st is the end of Nissan's fiscal year, hence why the offer expires tomorrow. Get them to sweat a little, and you'll be able to do it for cheaper.
Yep, I am planning to lease. Sticker price was quoted as below. I'm not going to do it this weekend anyways but I'd like to see how far they'll work with me.
John,
MSRP is $32,715
VPP is $29,704
Residual $19,302 / 59%
Lisa
I almost leased a 2.5 S. They wanted $327/mo for 39 mos. and $3000 down. Total was $22626 with TTL.
I ended up getting a 2.5 S for $19400 ($1000 below invoice) with $5000 down. Sticker price was $21835, plus I got a $500 college grad rebate taken off the back end.
"I was lucky enough to get to my Alty before the dealer put a plate or the holder on there!"
I assume this means some kind of license plate surround or the plate itself that advertises for the dealer. for EVERY car we've bought, it's WRITTEN into the sales agreement that they either ensure that no badge/decal/sticker/sign/surround or other advertising device be installed on our car, or pay us $500 /year in advertising fees. No arguments, no stickers.....

Just posted pics of my new 3.5SE Prem Package Dark Slate/Charcoal Leather Altima in the Gallery for all who want to see it. I'm going to get it tinted in the near future and also want to look into getting some new rims for it but I have no experience in rims. What do you guys think would look good on it being it's Dark Slate? Thanks all!
PS sorry for the low quality pics, I'm going to take more with the digital cam later.

There is a license plate holder for the front of the car, and some people have it, and some people (like me), got to their car before the dealer installed it. Look at Silent Z's car for an example of one that has it.
I just purchased a Majestic Blue 3.5 SE with fog lights, splash guards, floor mats, and a spoiler from Sterling McCall Nissan here in Houston. I got it for $23,801 + TT&L and got $2,500 for my trade in (98 civic in need of almost $1,000 of work). I actually could have gotten a Supper Black 3.5 SE with just the same options except no spoiler for $500 dollars less at David McDavid Nissan. However, after dealing with three of there sales people (2 were managers ) I decided that the spoiler and the service at Sterling were enough that I was willing to pay $500 more.
Now I just have to wait for it to actually get here!
