Well, there are 2 voices here...

1. Me, who is trying to be honest and give good info.

2. a car dealer who's only goal and motivation in life is to make money off of you.

That's all I'll say on the matter.

yeah, but voice 2 wasn't making any money off of me and he knew it in the first place, we were just conversing over beers. I'm not saying what he said was accurate, but things change was my point. I'm not saying he, the website or you is wrong, but its very possible that 1 ( or even 2 ) of the 3 is.

Thinking about buying a 3.5SE Super Black on Charcoal seats with the Premium/Convenience Package. Anything I should know/price to get for it?

Just got mine 2.5 S with convenience package for 2% over invoice. Thought it was pretty good especially without any factory rebate to help lower the price. I asked the dealer if any upcoming factory rebates will occur, they said not likely. I know they're not telling the truth, however, didn't want to lose the color choice on lot with specific package without any BS add-ons. Couldn't wait till after July 2nd to find out of new rebates from factory if any.

I'd say it is possible to shoot for around $500 or so under dealer invoice. Also, see if you can get them to throw in some free oil changes and stuff. You should also be able to get what you want for your trade in provided you are being reasonable. Don't be afraid to ask.

Make sure the price they quote you includes everything. Don't let them trick you into adding other fees on afterwards. I think I got hit with a $2.50 finance fee, but they ended up making that part of their price match.

Get quotes from 3 dealers. Play them off one another, and then buy from the dealer that is your favorite (like good reputation at the service dept., because the sales guy doesn't mean a thing after you drive off the lot. you want the best service dept.).

RIght now, Nissan has great financing options, too. 2.9% for 60 months on a 2007 Altima. I don't know how good your credit score has to be, but if you can get 2.9% for 60 months, that's like free money!

Hello everybody. Went to a dealership in NYC. Worked out the deal. Altima 07 with CVT, SL package, ABS, splash guards, mats for 22500. Destination fee and TTL additional. Should I accept this or not? Will appreciate any comments.

Thanks for comment from bldg0031. Yesterday went to the dealership and signed preliminary contract, did not go to F&I office because it was too late. Will try to finalize the deal on Friday.

Its probably true. Altima is selling pretty well, and rebates are usally used to increase sales of slow selling cars.
