I'm new to this forum! I've wanted this particular car since before it came out. Finally found a dealership in the SoCal area that had it with everything I wanted including the color (the first 6 months I searched, the closest dealership that had it was in Arizona).
3.5 SL, completely loaded (tech package, spoiler, etc...even more than I actually wanted), $29k - below invoice. Plus, I was given an additional $1500 cash back for being a recent college grad. I think it helped that the '08s are on the lot. And another bonus: The dealer threw in 2 free nights in Vegas.
I love my car! I've had it for 9 days and have put over 800 miles on it and I've only had to stop at the gas station twice. I love coming out of the office and finding hand prints on my windows from people peering in. That'll get annoying in about a week.
Not crazy about scraping the undercarriage on my steep driveway but I'm learning to deal with it by going in at an angle...
Here in Bethesda MD, got a 07 3.5 SE with nothing but splash guards, wheel locks, floor mats for ~$23,000+TT (total around $24209 given maryland's 5% tax upfront, and a $53 tag transfer fee).
I bought the 3.5 SE full load exc.nav.
Car, undercoating, rustproof pkg., leather protection, paint protection, GST, blah, blah, blah $39,500.
Good or bad I don't know. What I do know, is that none of the dealerships or should I say stealerships here would move a whole lot on the price. The economy here is so good right now I think they can get away with it.
That's why I didn't buy my 07 Altima 3.5 SE in Canada. I went to Maryland where I saved more than CAD$10K.
There is this ongoing cross-border car shopping by Canadians because we saved a lot. Some people buying Subaru's B9 Tribeca and Outback LL Bean saving around $20K. This Subaru in Rochester, NY is making a killing selling 20-25 Subie's a month just from Canadians and he's getting word-of-mouth referrals.

Picked up a 07 2.5 S with CVT, convenience package, mats, precision grey. Car was $21,485 with the bogus "rustproofing charge", window sticker was $22,135. They only wanted to give me $17,000 for our trade in, 05 Titan CC XE 4x4 OR pkg. with 27,212 miles on it. Talked them up to $19,000, then with the difference between the trade in and the car, TTL, GAP, etc. it all came out to $23.3K with some change. Think I got a pretty good deal? I live in Hawaii so everything here is expensive, I think I got a decent deal though.

$318/month for 6 years. Will be paid for sooner. Love my car so far! Barely costs $650 a month to drive it with the note, insurance, and gas. I'm happy and I'm only 22. No cosigner.

unfortunately no college grad. havent finished yet. should have already been finished. the rebate was just a regular rebate. though, I would trade my car for a degree in a second.

I thought there was only a 500 dollar rebate? guess I'm wrong? well... when I checked recently, it was only 500...
Purchased Used 2007 Altima 2.5 S in Oct 2008 (2 weeks ago)....25,000 miles The car is very basic and comes with little to no options... It has the keyless entry, which is standard lol. I bought it for 17,500 .. Did i get ripped off???
I bought my used 2007 3.5SE + Tech for $21,900 with 15k miles. $23,600 after fees. I think that is pretty good for a car that was over $32k new.
They were asking $24,500 online. I went in just to look at the car in person and they were trying to get me in the car that night. I was like no and they just kept going down on the price, but I still didn't buy it that night, plus they thought I was financing through them. Even offered to let me drive it for the night. Still turned them down. So the next day I came in with my pre-approved loan check and a guy that was a former Nissan salesman. He pissed them off because he called them on every trick they were trying to pull, and they went up on the price from the night before saying that "Big boss won't approve it," so we ended up leaving as they became asses to deal with. I was actually upset because it was the one I wanted, but the guy I was with told me they would call back. And sure enough about 4 hours later the Director of Sales called and asked me what happened and I told him that I had a very bad experience, and he pretty much gave it to me for the price I had them agree upon the night before. Went back and got it the same day. The original salesman was kissing ass at this point!! It was so funny to watch. Plus it was the end of the month.
Kalon, yes it does feel good to be able to get this car on my own. No cosigner, and I am 22 also. And my insurance came out to be less that $100 a month!!!! Although I am currently spliting the note with my mom because she wanted my previous car but couldn't pay upfront, so that was the deal since I couldn't get trade in on it. I may pay the whole note plus her half, if I am comfortable or I may save it and gain interest on it.
