Long-Term Road Tests - Nissan Altima SE: Lookin' Good

but it's short enough to post....

At first I thought I had done something to offend. The guy was approaching with the kind of stride usually reserved for conflict. Turns out he just wanted to check out my ride. "Is that the '07?" he asked as I shoved the fuel nozzle into the Altima's quarter panel.

"It is," I replied.

"Sweet. Mind if I take a look."

"Of course not," I said opening the door. "Check out the new dash."

Later that same day I was accosted by another admirer. This time at the local Pep Boys. I had just purchased a harmonic balancer puller for a small-block Chevy project I'll never finish and found him circling the Altima like it was a Ferrari.

"2007?"

"Yup."

"Rockin'"

"Thanks."

It's always fun when somebody digs your car. Camry and Accord owners don't know what they're missing.

I've had the experience a few times and loved every minute of it.
