Gas Mileage on 07s

well, in the city, it is not all that great. so im curious what your car indicates is your gas mileage when cruising on the highway. I snapped a picture of my dash with my camera phone while on cruise for a few miles to show what i get. and i normally get between 35-50MPG depending on road conditons and other things that can affect it. But tonight i was cruising, had cruise control on at 70mph for a few miles, and it read 65mpg at 70.0mph. it read this for awhile, even after i reset it. My phone wont let me send the pic to my email for some reason, but if it ever goes through, ill post it

Unless you have a hybrid or traveling down hill, there is no way you are getting 65MPG sustained.

Anytime that you are at cruising speed an there is any bit of downhill that gauge becomes useless... the instant read gets off IMHO. I have seen similar stuff happening on mine. As long as I am headed into the city (150ft, elevation drop over the 20 miles) my mpg is through the roof compared to coming back.
