I had a set of the window deflectors sent to me via Fish Creek Nissan as recommended to me by canadiantj, and I got the adhesive deflectors too. It does come with some 3M adhesive promoter, so it sticks a bit better than just using bare tape. It feels really solid, obviously not something you want to try to pry off or anything but it stuck a lot better than using tape straight up.
My mom has in-channel window deflectors, and over about two years at most she's gone through two (going on three) pairs. The first set lost both rear deflectors and her second set, which she has now, is missing the rear right deflector again. This is on an '05 Accord, I believe, and since I never really drived/had any interest in it I didn't research it. It could be just an issue with that car, maybe the shape of the car catches the wind real well in the back and rips it right off.
Also worth mentioning is the thickness of the Altima's deflectors. Between the Accord's deflectors and the aftermarket set I had for my '05 Mazda 6, the Altima's are definately thicker and stronger, they hardly bend with some pressure applied to them. I don't have the Mazda any more, but from appearances I would say it might even be close to twice as thick. Along with the promoter, I don't really feel worried about them coming off, they're stuck on much stronger than the Mazda's did with just the tape.
Lastly, Fish Creek Nissan made me pay for the deflectors, tax (6%), and shipping to me in Wisconsin. All told it came to $130 or so, $111.xx for the part and tax and $19.54 for shipping. Not bad considering they said they estimated $100 for shipping and customs fees (for some reason).
I can't say for certain because I've only had them in for a couple days and it's been really stormy around here lately so it's been windier than usual.
If you open the window, you still get wind noise. The purpose of the deflectors are not to limit the noise but to allow you to crack open the window several inches if it's raining and still get fresh air to come in without getting the interior all wet.

I've called weathertech from January till now to see if they have one for the 2007, and they keep saying no. When that new camry came out they made one right away, Im thinking they are hating on altima lol... COme on so many months this car came out in like nov/dec we are in oct they should have had one made for our cars, considering they are so many on the road.

Sorry to be off subject well off generation haha but does anyone have the deflector on their 3rd gens? I have seen them on certain sites but have never seen a picture. I have always been curious to see how it looks. Thanks in advance.
Edit: the front deflector I mean.

Chk wooddash.com for 3rd gen BUG GUARD #BVBG-0207 $79.95. The canted ends follow the top edges of ur headlight. They r produced in Italy and r warehoused in New York & was distributed by: PRO TRIM in AZ. Shipping out to HI wud exceed the item cost so I had it & vinyl lip spoiler from back east both shipped to a friend living in Las Vegas. No drill & I modified the black pastic clips with a heat gun to fit more securely on the front endge of the hood. I also had rubber strips placed between the clips & hood surface.
I suggested a few days ago for the 4th gens to email Weather Tech enmass for their German made in-channel side window deflectors. Me, I've been waiting for WT to produce floorliners (pans) as the 3rd gens floors are recessed, below the door side sills. I've owned their excellent WT floormats but IMO they just don't cut it on the Altimas.
My front deflector (BUG GUARD) & side window deflectors have had no probs after 3 years.
Not sure if I like the window deflectors or not. I hate when the back ones end before the glass ends.
This is one of those times where u weigh the pro & cons: mount in-channel or out & if anyone else has the rear set that extends past the post at the small window. It has been a year since the '07's have been on the road, how much longer the wait especially since the '08's will also be on the road?
After an ugly encounter with some after-market window vents (suggested by the parts guy at my dealer, "They'll fit perfectly," and "Nissan [b][u]does not [u][b] manufacture window vents anywhere, even Canada."), I called up Morrey Nissan in Canada and had them shipped to me at my job. I took them back to my dealer and had them installed, just to prove that not all women are idiots. I smoke in the car (bad, I know) and therefore wanted them for function. I may be a little biased, but I think they look HOOOOTTTTTT!!!!! on my winter frost 3.5SE. Oh, the guy at Morrey Nissan, Tom, was super nice and helpful and seemed to be shocked that we can't get them here. If you call, tell him the girl from Mississippi sent you.
