Wow, old thread. Your car should be pre-wired, i thought most Canadian cars were but I could be wrong.
the kit should work with 09's, Nissan didn't change much on the 07-07-09 gens. your only issue is running your own wires to the fogs and fining the correct wiring to plug them through the system if you aren't pre wired.
Or, you can make your own kit with wires, switch, and relay to operate without the stalk.
Most of us that aren't prewired, we just did the wiring ourselves and added a separate switch to operate the fogs.
the deal isn't too bad since I don't really see fogs on ebay anymore, they used to run about 90 to 100 a piece if i remember right. just buy and sell the switch for pre-wired people.

Well after a year and a half of browsing looking and feeling sorry for myself for not having fogs for my 2.5SL, the clouds have lifted and god has touched my Altima. I was at the Nissan dealer late last week getting an oil change on the wifes Sentra and just thought Id ask about the fogs one last time when low and behold the parts guy told me that the Fog Kit is now available for the 07 to 09 Altima (actually he told me they have been available since Feb/09) and he could get them in on Tuesday and service could install them on Wednesday...I ask them why on the parts web site it said that the fogs were for 09 Altimas only but he did not have an answer for that except that they have been installing them on 07, 08, and 09's.......Well no matter, I'm happier than a pig in and now I believe in happy endings...well at least this time...Oh I almost forgot...its $400.00 Canadian plus tax for parts and labour which at my age is a deal...
I know someone out there is going to tell me I could have gone to ebay and got them for a song but I just don't trust oem and then the trouble of finding someone to install them (it would not have been me)
This is really good info. Wish it was a sticky. Keep this thread alive.
Yeah, I have an 08 Altima 2.5 SL-----to my surprise, the fog lights didn't come with this car. Although I do have the spoiler. Strange how Nissan does it's packaging.
Learned some great stuff on here. I didn't realize the wiring are hiding behind the plastic fog light covers (if indeed, my 2.5SL is wired for fog lights). I'll have to check it the box now. If the wiring are there, installation will be a breeze.
You see, I thought about putting fog lights on there but I don't know anything about wiring or electrical work. I figured I was just going to ask how much it would cost to have it wired and installed. If the wiring is already in place, then it's just a simple matter of mounting it and attaching the leads.
can anyone post up a pic of a stalk thats fog ready? i'm prewired but i wanna know what the stalk looks like to see if i need to buy a new one of install a seperate switch
thanks

all it has is the fog light switch. which is the same thing as how you turn the headlights on now, just twist the part that says fog lights. looks exactly the same
I just got off the phone with two dealerships around the area and the guys keep telling me they won't fit on the 2007 altima. They keep saying that the bumpers or some stuff have changed from the 2007 to the 2009.
I know some people have done it and I want to make sure I can install them before I buy it.

Yeah, I looked. Missing the two wires in fuse box. No wires hidden in front where others have said they would be. Curious if any of the hybrids are pre-wired.
