They have factory kick plates for the Altima. Pretty sure they're brushed aluminum though not chrome. No sway bars yet that I've seen

The SE has bigger sway bars, front and rear, than the other Altimas. Don't know why they don't make a 2.5 SE, or some other "sport" version with the 4 cyl. If "strut bars" are braces running between the strut towers, they won't help nearly as much on the 4th gen as they did on the earlier Altimas, because the platform is much stiffer to start with. They would still stiffen up the body, just not as noticable as on the earlier cars.
I'm in Orlando sorry i had a strut & sway bar on my 2003 maxima, did wonders, why I am hoping someone somewhere will come out with them for the 07 altima
He didnt mention Strutbars, he said Sway bars. The Strutbar for a '07+ Altima would be pretty useless and just added weight. From the factory they are already have triangulated bracing and are 100% more ridged in the strut towers than the previous generation Altima.

Do you already have an SE? Or is there some other reason why you are not interested in using the sway bars from the SE? Ignorance, perhaps?
I am not a tuner type person so what exactly is it that strut bars do? (if u say improve handling then in what way?)
It's a bar that goes between the strut towers to brace them from flexing during hard cornering. Some may connect tothe firewall or to each strut tower and the firewall.
Basically it doesn't really effect the handling so much as it incresses ridgidness and make the steering more responsive, crisper, quicker feeling.
STILLEN is making one for the coupes, its actually almost done...there is a thread about it on nico, but nico is full of coupe owners, havnt you all noticed that everything is getting done for the coupes. thats cuz of the high demand on nico. if this forum would stop worrying about dumb shit like cup holders (not trying to pick on you rupp) then we would get sway bars and all the other body components the coupe is getting
THERE ARE SWAY BARS ON ALL THE NEW ALTIMAS. Go out and look under one, or just read the specs. And the 3.5SE has thicker sway bars, front and rear, than the other Altimas. They have stiffer springs, and shocks, too. So it you want to improve the handling of a 2.5, or a 2.5S, or a 3.5SL, look at what's available through Nissan. Or, you can just drive it like it is, and WHINE, because there is nothing available from other sources besides Nissan.

.....HA.....HA....
thats a dumb post, i'm sorry but thats like saying there is a stock exhaust so
why get an aftermarket exhaust. we want sway bars for IMPROVEMENT
To clarify.. both the 2.5L and 3.5L Coupe & Sedan do have front and rear sway bars.
The new STILLEN Rear Sway Bar is a bolt-on replacement, and will provide additional stiffness necessary to reduce body roll and improve the handling.
Here are some technical specifications of the OEM vs. STILLEN Rear Sway Bar...

No way, I thought the swaybars were aftermarket only items....
when i go the strut bar on my maxima it seriously was a HUGE difference, sway bar there was improvements BUT it was much more expensive. i just want a strut for the altima or maybe next time i'll just buy a 350z lol

OK this is where I have to draw the line and call you out. First of all, this site is a discussion forums for people to discuss whatever they want and to pretty much get comments and help with their cars and I see it that people has the right to post whatever they like especially improvements to the car. People like you really don't help the situation and in my honest opinion, you sound very much like the people on NICO that sit there and argue back and forth about everything wrong with their cars. Please try and think about what you are saying. Aftermarket parts just do not get made for our cars, it takes people like myself, tooslow_4_u, and countless others that sacrifice their cars for months on end to get this shit made. The reason Stillen has coupe parts (and yes I prototype for them too) is because they physically bought a coupe and it sits there every day for them to constantly think of new ideas and they are too busy to call people to bring in their sedans to work on because the market is not there in their eyes. Therefore...if YOU are not willing to give up your car and call these people every single day like what I do then just keep your comments to yourself because it really pisses me off when people talk crap about these forums and they haven't even been here that long to realize how good it is here.
I'm done venting now...thanks
:EDIT: BTW, what Ormand said about the Front Strut braces is completely true...this is one of the first cars I've seen with them and its bolted not only on the strut towers but also onthe firewall which makes it even stronget than aftermarket ones. Look under your hood and see if we are lying. Hint, its that black metal going off the strut towers lol.
