22 I think is overkill. 20s would be the highest I would go, and like others mentioned, the back well would eat your tires up! Any little bump sound horrible in the back, and you would go thru tires like crazy.
go with 20's...I have nothing against anyones opinion..but my man..you have a 2.5..putting some heavy 22's or even 20's will make your car struggle...try to find the best looking rim (your opinion) and the lightest....19's with a mean drop is a good agressive look....20's at stock height is good as well...just remember..the bigger the rims..the more carefull you have to drive...

jason2922 - that's about the best 20" setup that I've seen. It's still not for me and I'm sticking with 18's or 19's at the most as my recommendation. 99% of 19" & 20" wheels draw your eyes directly to the wheels, not to the car as a whole. To me, Wheels should complement the car's style, not overpower it and draw your eyes away from the entire package to one specific location. the OZ's you've got come really close to not drawing your eye away from the car. I bet those rims as 19" would look best [to me] and would complement the car. The 20's in that style are just a hair too big [for my liking] and don't allow me to look at the car as a whole package. It's the same reason I prefer the Stillen nose over the AIT. The AIT takes your eye away from the altima and directly to the body Kit.
It's a preference thing.

It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.
^I totally understand what you're saying. I wanted 19"s, but they only offered this one in 20"s. I wouldn't change if I had the option, it grew on me. Lot of my buddies don't believe I've got 20"s on until they read it on the wheels. The altima makes the wheels look smaller than they are, which is why 18"s don't look right - 19"s are perfect. These are just opinions, so don't rag.
The Altima wheel wells are so huge it takes 24's to actually have them full, 24's are too much, 22's are ok if its not your daily driver. but 20's will be nice for an all purpose Altima
I originally wanted 18s, until I spied my eyes on the new 2009 Maxima with those hot 19s.
But today I got a call from a friend that has some 20s for me that are practically free.
Just wondering what offset you are running on your wheels. I know stock 16s are 45mm, and I think the ones that I might be getting are 35mm. I hope it's not too much to make them stick out beyond the fenders, if thats the case I might look into have them put on a lethe to cut them down.
