Stillen ECU Chip

Hey for everyone who doesn't know, Stillen has a chip out for the Altima. You have to send in your ECU and they will reflash it for you. The guy also said that it is better to have all your parts on your car your going to get (Intake, exhaust, etc.) before sending it in so they can tune the ECU to work with all your parts. There selling it for $375 and the price you pay for shipping there will also be the price you pay for them to ship it back to you.

I was on the Stillen site and didn't see anything (the site is quite lame imo).

Can the OP provide info on how to order this chip?

Has anyone tried it yet?

I'm dying to know.

they reflash it to work with your parts you have installed on your car

I don't know when you were there but I called yesterday (August 20,2008) and he said that they don't try to advertise it much because they reflash your ECU to work with the parts you have on your car. So, for example, if you have a intake and you send your ECU in they reflash it to work with the intake to get better gains and if you buy an exhaust afterwards it won't work as well with the new settings since they only reflashed it to work with the intake.

.

I ask the OP the same thing (why isn't it on the site?) and he said they don't advertise it on the site. He will give you all the info you need on how to order it because you have to order it over the phone.

That I can't answer. I can tell you that they will reflash it to work with that intake. Call stillen and ask them for more details about the reflashing of your ECU with that intake. They will mostly likely tell you not to buy it until you get all the parts on your car you want so they can reflash it to work with everything you have but if you plan to only have intake then go right ahead.
