loose console between seats?

when i did my first 5 hour cleaning of the car during the summer i noticed that the entire console in the center was loose. from the shifter to the back of the arm rest. it hardly moves from the drivers side but when i was sitting in the passenger seat it was moving so far i thought it was going to come out. anyone had this yet? is it possible something just came out of place or is it more likely something is broken. the last time that was touched was when the dealer replaced the silver shifter bezel.

EDIT: videos of what im talking about...

good on drivers side---

bad on passengers side---

There 2 screws at the bottom of the console (1 per side) right next to the seats. U'll have to move seats to the front to see them. I bet 1 of them either got loose or fell off. Happened to me before as well as to at least 3 other people on this forum i told the same exact thing.

If console move a lot more from passenger's side then it's passenger's side screw.

just one screw holding the entire thing down? id imagine the paneling on the console needs to be removed...im going to the dealer this month for an oil change so should i just have them do it there or is it easily accessible?

^ no two screws are holding in down, one on each side. At this moment my console is doing the same thing. Mostly ur screw is on the floor between the seat and console. You should be able to do it,I know it has like a blk cover over it, but it may be able to screw in with some wire pliers. Ive been to lazy to fix mines lol. If u push against it alot, that can knock the screws out eventually, or extra curricular activites too lol

sidenote: Hey thats were i sit my ipod too
