ya it looks like that poll owned your car. what kid of poll leaves that pattern of scrapes? it looks weird. touch up paint and a butt load of buffing and youre set. its not cracked right?

looks like the bumper caved in a bit and cause the paint to "peel" in a sense like that...

possibly. it just looks like the surface was jagged like glass not a pole. o well, different thoughts on the pole, same damage. GL fixing it.

not bad, no punctures. Our bumper covers are pretty resilient to dents. had a rear ending before with scrapes but the form of the cover retained it's shape. A good body shop can just strip and repaint it for you.

I've been very spoiled with my backup camera lately .

Here is what you need to do. Find the paint code of your car, and go to either a Nissan dealer, or a local auto parts store, and buy a spray can of the exact same color paint.

Also buy a couple sheets of sand paper, and a spray can of cheap primer, grey is preferred.

Return to the same parking lot, and find the same pole that attacked your car.

Using the sand paper, sand off the yellow paint on the pole, clean it with a rag, and apply a few coats of grey primer.

When the primer dries, and it does dry fast, paint the pole with the spray can of paint that matches your car.

Here is the tricky part, and I recommend that you have a spotter help you with this.

You will need to line up your car perfectly with the pole, in the exact same position as you did when that pole attacked your car.

Back into the pole at the exact speed, at the exact angle, and stop at the exact same time as you did before.

Voila! The new paint from the pole will tranfer to your bumper, and if all goes according to plan, your car will look like new.

Or, you could skip this part, and take your car to a Body and Paint shop of your choosing, and have the damage repaired.

The choice is yours.

Most of the posts made by this kid are pretty lippy and or facetious.

I was not joking about this emotionally insecure person freaking out.

I presented him with two options, one of which I would do, and have done.

I did make a mistake, and I will be the first to admit it.

I should have presented him with option # 3, so here goes.

Option number 3.

Monday morning, 0900 hours sharp, show up in person at the nearest United States Marine Corps recruiting office, and have a quality man to man chat with a recruiter.

Sign on the dotted line, and a few weeks later, enjoy your short vacation at a quaint oceanside resort called Parris Island, South Carolina where your DI will show you what in ardoin489's words '..im freking out' really means.

"There's a lot of whiners in every crowd."

The guy is freaking about a scratch on his bumper. Its a scratch, not something mechanical failing, not something electrical about to cause a fire or the car to stall and cause a accident. He took the time to take pix and go online to post and ask what to do. IF.... he doesn't know that no one on here can fix it for him and that if he doesn't already have the knowledge to fix it himself to take it to a shop, maybe he shouldn't be driving the car in the first place. Just my opinion.....
