Help!! Eibach Pro-Kit for 2009 V6 or 4cyl

I have a 2009 Altima sedan 2.5SL and wanted to put the Eibach Pro-kit set up for it and notice it was a 1.4''F 0.8''R. I wanted to drop it a little more than that.

The Pro-Kit for the 6cyl was 1.5'' F 1.2''R. Will the V6 setup work for my 2.5SL? Is the suspesion the same on both models. Thx

I think if the suspension was the same it would be the same part number. But also you have to remember that the spring rate is also dependent on the weight of the vehicle. The v6 should weigh more than the 4cyl so IF they did fit, it would not ride properly.

v6 can drop more because the v6s's suspension is different from the 4 cylinder.
our 4 cylinder suspension is not as stiff as the v6 and would not be able to handle much of a drop on stock struts

the eibach prokit looks perfect with those max 19" wheels
theres pics on this site somewhere of a guy with that set up

If u want anymore drop than that BC racing coilovers are 2.5's only other options

i also thought the .8'' would not be suffice in the rear .. but now that i actually have it on (with 19'' wheels aswell) .. it is perfect like ppl say .. but there are other spring options ... H&R makes a sport spring set that is 1.5/1.3 ... and D2 has a 2'' all around drop ...

i have used H&R on a few of my other cars and have always liked them... didnt go with it this time cuz almost everyone recommended the eibachs...

I've had issues with speedbumps around here on my stock 16's with my eibachs. have to take speedbumps at an angle here with only myself and the gf in the car.

if you live in the tristate area you already know that driveways ( both residential and stores) are rather steep. for me even getting coffee in the morning before school is a PITA. i need to take the entrance at a 45* angle. i cant imagine what another 1.5in lower up front would do to to the already lowered bumper. even though i probably will lower at some point, youll need to be real careful.

on a side note, if one were to get the 3.5 springs and has a 2.5 would that REALLY be a big deal. if the passengers/cargo in the car is typically heavier than usual it would compensate for the extra weight from the 3.5 vs the 2.5 no? me being 6-5 and usually have my girl and a friend in it plus stuff in the trunk would definitely bring it close to the 3.5s weight...

Same deal here, and thats with one "normal weight" passenger. I have been thinking about going back to stock. Those coilovers have caught my interest recently. But I dont think I want to dish out 800.00 or more yet.

its possible. my car is an SL, so the suspension is soft by default with the still OEM structs and shocks, plus now aftermarket springs, sway bars, and strut bar.

of course, I could always replace those OEM parts with SE parts...

the tire/rims probably don't help either...the continentals are very cushy tires. i do feel alot more of the road now, but kind of wonder if doing 18's or 19's will be even more road feedback. yah, 19's look better, but everything I have read says 18's are the best for confort AND performance

would be nice if NISMO got off their ass and made some coilovers! not sold on BC racing.
