Nissan Chrome Grille 07-09 Sentra/New member

Hello everyone, new member to the forum, not to nissans. i got a 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S, and a 2008.5 Titan KC SE. member to the titantalk forum

I took in my Sentra today to get the Master Cylinder replaced (i got a rental sentra also) and while waiting on my rental car, i noticed there was a chrome (plastic chrome i think) OEM honeycomb nissan grille, that looks just like the black stock grille. the guy said it was about 100 bucks, that they had just got it in last week.

but, has anyone seen this? its kinda like the 2004-2007 maxima grille, but not as dark. i'm thinking of getting an E&G classics MESH grille that retails about 250 bucks, but i'm reluctant, becasue of the hole where the emblem goes.

anyways.... anyone seen this new Nissan part?

I haven't seen an OEM Chrome grille, but I've seem chrome grille overlays on eBay. Does the one you saw look like these?

yeah thats it. anyone tried this or have it on. i doubt its very durable since its just plastic colored chrome. for about 70 bucks it aint bad, but i'd like to see it on a car first.

bringing this post back to life..... has anyone seen this grille? one of the nissan dealers near my house has this at 20% off. i'm thinking of getting it... but i think i may find it cheaper online. anyone know the OEM Nissan part number?

i looked at courtesyparts.com and got nothing.

I don't think it's an OEM accessory. What color is your Sentra? You might want to do some photoshopping to see how it'll look on your car before buying it.

im thinking of getting this grille from ebay too. im curious about the quality. for 80 bucks, i might give it a try and share it here. sentra is in the body shop and should be ready in about 2 weeks.

i got the grille and installed last night. the grille is quite thick and seems to be high quality. the chrome is smooth and shiny. installation is just snap on. at first i thought it will be hard since it wont go in, but a little push in small areas worked, until i hear the click and the piece is locked.

i recommend this grille for anyone interested. ill post pics later, took night pics but not that good. any other questions let me know.

i like it. this is the one you got off ebay or the nissan dealer? looks like it doesn't really hide the nissan emblem

it just clips on top of the existing one correct?

if you look at the "back" pic, the thing has a opposing edges on top and bottom that snaps onto the grille. i wasnt sure at first til i hear the snap sound. i hope i was clear.
