upgrading to SE-r Seats and SE-r Radio

Well i ordered SE-R seats about a week ago and i am suppose to get those today, i also ordered the SE-R radio/gauge combo from a member off here though eBay - my hope is that the seats just bolt in and the seat belt wiring fits, and as far as the radio goes i have just the base so im not to sure if i have all the wiring for the gauges or even the radio plugins for that manor but i will be taking apart my dash when i get the radio and praying that all the connections are there

The original bolts that old in the seats are at about 100000 ft pounds of torq and i already stripped 1 bolt

Ok so far i have the drivers seat finished and the back seat finished, but i have a stripped bolt i still need to take care of to finish the passenger seat.

I had to have the dealership loosen the bolts and then i was able to switch it out

The seat belt light still works and idk what the other connector was but no lights are on my dash so there is no mods to be done!

**FYI - if your back seats are 60/40 like mine were the back seats will bolt in but will be loose and the back part of the seat isn't covered so the stuffing is showing when you look through the trunk

************update***************

Seats are finished and now waiting on my radio

Took apart my dash, now i had the base model so there was only 2 plugs going into the radio, 1 for antennae and 1 for speakers etc, but there was an extra plug that was just taped to another plug not being used but........ the SE-R radio i ordered has 4 plugs but i looked at other radios off eBay and noticed that other radios have the 4th plug and i came to the conclusion that some sentras are prewired for sat/xm witch mine wasn't

here a pic of my dash kind of looks like a bomb went off

dude.... how on earth did you get the shifter knob & climate controls out? The radio & gauges should be on the way. Your car is going to be bad ass! Are you going to do the exterior SE-R body kit too?

No its not an SE-R and im not a poser the reason i got SE-r seats is because of the seat belt and air bags get wired up to them and i got the radio cuz i want the in dash 6disc and i don't like the way after market cd players look in the dash but ill be updating my cardomain once i finish the radio thing and i still have a couple more things i want to do to it once i get the cash

lol yeah seats were cheap not the shipping! and the cool thing is that the seats bolt right in and the seat belt and airbag pluggins all fit no modding to be done there, but for the back seat mine was 60/40 split and the ser is just 1 piece it bolts in but doesn't fit properly so is a tad loose.

All seats are bolted in and plugged in and the radio is in!

For some reason the clock button nor temp reading doesn't work and i cant get the 6 disc to open to take any cd's the error code i get is "CD MECH ERROR PRESS EJECT" so of course i press eject and nothing happens

Also there is no plugs to plug into the oil pressure gauge or the G meter so i just left that unplugged for now till i can figure out what is going on but ill keep you guys posted

thought maybe you broke them in already with your girl.

not sure if it's in your area, as it comes out of Rochester, but look for some Castle Velour cleaner. spray it on the stain, let it sit for like 30 seconds, vacuum or rub off.. looks brand new.

Well bad news guys, after disconnecting the battery about 20 times and disconnecting the radio 20 times to figure out why my cd player isn't working i got nowhere. So i looked up online to see if people had similar problems and it is unfixable most people just go to the dealership and get it replaced under warranty but i cant because i bought it off eBay from someone on this forum, the ad on eBay says "Like new Condition" when i got it, it had scratches on it and the 6 disc doesn't work at all.

Where should i go from here, get a refund and send it back or just get a partial refund and order a new radio part?

If I were you, I'd ask the seller to try to get it fixed under his warranty. Or, refund otherwise.
