I really hate this car. Nissan made a real duty box when they thought up this one. The only thing i like about the car is the panoramic side view of it. I mean it is a hot lookin car from the side especially with the SE-R spoiler. But other than that they can fkin have it back.

1. As discussed in the other post, the paint it utter garbage. It scratches like my hand on my balls. It has blotchy spots all in it, and yes i know how to wash, wax and polish cars. I did detailed my friends scion tc and was shocked how much better the paint quality was.

2. Got corrosion? My engine looks like its 20 years old, my old ford's v6 i had before this car wasn't this bad. The engine is all pitted and i have rust in many places under the car aswell.

3. They literally had a mexican wire this car. I mean absolutely pathetic. I have an airbag light on, which nissan tells me they cannot fix for me under warranty now i am fighting with corporate. Any time it gets cold out the TPMS light goes on. The stock stereo is horrific and the service engine soon light likes to pop in and say hello at least once a month. But my newest thing is my car locks me out of it. It does not let me use my remote to access the car nor can i use my buttons on my door to enter my car. I literally have to put my key in the door and open it in which the car wakes up and then my remote works? Weird..... and no it is not my battery in my remote. I used 2 different remotes and changed batteries.

4. CVT is terrible. Thats all i have to say here.

5. If you love body roll buy this car.

6. Thanks for the bridgestone turenzas! I think if i sh!t in my hand and put it on my rim it would turn out to be a better tire then these things. Like seriously nissan skimp alittle more on this one.

7. My speedometer is off. Very nice. My speedo will tell me i am doing 80 when i am doing 73mph. Just rackin those extra miles for fun ya know.

100 percent agree! i am never buying a car from a company that thinks price is better than quality again id much rather buy a 99 es300 with every warning light on possible

Wow all ive owned is nissans, and nissan always takes care of me when i rarley do have a problem. I have a altima se-r, a datsun 510, a 83 datsun 720 that hasnt had a single issue, and a sentra se-r thats a 08 and we havent had a single issue with the sentra, and its already at 20k because my wife drives far to work about 80 miles round trip. Paint is fine, just one scratch that we cant figure how the **** it got there on the a piller, no rust in the engine bay, i hardly feel any body role seeing as how i took corners near 60mph from the beach back to salem because my mom was in the hospital and i was surprised how good it actually felt in those corners, i know my altima cant corner like that even with all the work ive done to it. I dont mind the stock stereo the bass sounds even better than with my altimas system.maybe you just got a lemon, sometimes you get those in a new car, idk. And just so you know, it probally was a mexican that wired the car. Thing is you have had one car that is giving you issues and you will allow that to make a judgement on a company???? maybe you should try another dealer, i have 3 near me, yet i still drive out to beaverton from vancouver even though a nissan is a mile from my house just because the beaverton one takes ****ing AWSOME care of me and my cars. I personally love nissan, and i will always stick with them.

never even touched the new Sentras, but thats a hilarious review. my '01 altima was actually quite a nice ride from day 1. i was quite surprised by its build quality for its price. maybe things changed..

I strong agree!!! terrible car!!! dealers are help you to fix a small problem, if your car has a big problem, they don't fix, just let you go. maybe altima, maxima or GTR is a good car, but sentra, no no no .....

Honestly.. If you want to talk s*** about the new sentra... Go buy a Honda, go join a honda forum, then start a thread there far far away from here where people that enjoy this car won't be bothered by your complaints...

Well im sorry to here about your bad luck on your vehicle but i bet if u go on every type of car forum out there someone will have made a post very similar to this...There are lemons out there in the world for example we had a 2004 expidition and our tranny broke, axles snapped and the motor actually died and it just sucked....I have had my sentra and it has gone through so much stuff and has been bullet proof.

As to the warranty if you do such mods that can potentially mess up your wiring or throw codes nissan will absolutely screw you over believe me they tried to blame my exause for O2 sensors going which is BS. But if you are looking for a lexus or something this car isn't even in that class man....If i wanted something that is high quality I would have spent an extra 20k.

I learned to buy a vehicle for best value of naturally inspired HP not beefed up. This car for 25k was absolutely the better deal for the specs. As soon as mods are introduced you mess up your car not saying thats your case but for others shit happens.

I don't have a problem with the sentra i have a problem with Nissan and how they ****ed me in the ass by not warrantying shitty stuff i paid for but some people got lucky and didn't have bad parts they had to pay to get fixed out of their own pocket working at a job that pays minimum wage

I have had gripes with all the points you mentioned except for number 2. But I love my Sentra.

For me, this car has a personality, charicter and its charming. I know this sound odd, but its very lovable. And I've met one other person who had a B16 and said the same thing.

Like I tell my friends "Its an Alfa Romeo from Mexico."

If you dont like the way the car was made why dont you sell it to someone who will actually like it and take the bus from know on that way you dont have to worry about a car breaking on you and paying for it. As for me i love my sentra 2.0s cvt and would not trade it for the world!

I drove the current B16 as a loaner car from the dealership and I wasnt all too thrilled about the car to be honest. I didn't like the controls all over the place.the car itself reminded me of a Saturn Ion 4 door. how in the world did nissan go from a curvy B15 to a boxy looking B16?? weird desigining at nissan!!! well its actually based off a renault model over in Europe since nissan has a relationship with them. to the OP are you planning to trade this car in for something else??? what are you planning to buy???

its funny not one dealer will give me even half of what i paid for it new even if it was mint, highest offer i have gotten was 8 for it, probably just my area though

Well the CVT went on mine. They replaced it and then I traded the car in. My dealer is good so they gave me a OK trade price. I am glad I am out of the car! Traded mine at 35K. Picked up a loaded 2005 Monte Carlo SS 25K miles for just about same money..

I loved my 05 Altima, it was a very nice car. However I would not buy a new one because of the CVT.

You have to like this. I see my old car for sale on the dealers web site. I clicked on the car fax report.. It has the service I had done. oil changes and such, but somehow them replacing the CVT was not on the car fax. Shows you how good that service is..
