a 2007 Niagara Grey Altima 2.5S with CVT.

I finally bit the bullet and let my 1999 Civic SiR go. We gave that up including my wife's 98 Civic Si(Canadian) for the new ride. I was going through emotional issues with the swap but after picking it up 4 hours ago, I felt confident that it was a good move.

We both figured, with her car sitting around 5 or 6 days a week, wasting away money on her insurance, this would be a good move for our future family. I honestly like how smooth the new Altima is. We couldn't justify spending C$5K more for the SE so we went with the 2.5SL without Navi. I really wished we could've picked up the SE though. Oh well..... times are tough!

So far, with 54kms on the new ride and that fresh new car scent, I've grown more attached to the new car. We don't have any plans on altering anything on the car yet but I'd like to get the factory foglight kit and possibly a light tint.

I hope to learn more from this site. There'll be questions for sure in due time form me.....

Now, I'm off to read the manual.... : )

Yes, I know what some of you may have thought. The SiR would've been a nice keeper for the next few years. But it's been 8 years with that car. I believe I can let it go. I don't regret getting the Altima, and it' soo smooth .
