Service Engine Soon

Hello to All. New here and my first post. We have had our 2001 Pathfinder since new and its been trouble free. 143000 mi now. Last year I had to replace the MAF sensor to pass inspection but now the service light is on again.

Just bought an Actron Scan Tool and cleared the codes and reset the service light. How long does the reset last and will it pass inspection now?

Codes were P0420 Cat low efficiency bank 1 or vacuum leak
P0430 " " " " 2 " "
P1490 Vacuum cut valve bypass valve

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance.

After about 40 miles the light came back on. I guess I will need new CAT's. I'll check the tech archives.

Nope, I've used that name on the internet as a nick name since I was 13, maybe someday I'll have one.
