No horsepower or torque ratings have been revealed yet. Only information we have is the engine code, its a V6 twin turbo, and its a 3.8 liter engine. You will most likely have to wait until TMS to see the actual specs or maybe an article will be leaked from one of the magazines.
The coming Nissan GT-R is a world-class supercar: Top speed of 193 mph, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, a 473 hp, 433 lb ft twin-turbo V6 mounted in the front and driving all four wheels through a rear-mounted transaxle.

must have clutch pedal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hmmm, ill do a paddle shift set up as long as i have the clutch pedal ha ha.

It's a dual clutch 6-speed transmission, with an automatic mode. Nissan didn't design the car to make "purists" happy about being able to make the shifts and disengage the clutch themselves. They designed and implemented this transmission because it offers the best performance AND the most accommodating experience at the same time. This transmission will shift smarter and quicker than any person ever could, while allowing it to be practical for everyday driving, not just on the race track. Nissan said earlier that the GT-R would NOT be allowed to be unprofitable, and by combining the top notch performance with all around practicality, it opens up a much larger market.
I'm not sure why people are so stuck on shifting trans themselves. Sure it's "more fun," but unless you're planning on racing all the time and short changing yourself by assuming that you're a mechanics and physics genius, and know when is the precise best time to shift and get the most performance from an engine, you're just stubborn to not at least give a dual-clutch tranny like this an honest chance.
I'm not saying manual three-pedals are stupid or shouldn't ever be incorporated in cars anymore, but when you're making a SUPER car, you generally want every aspect of it to be super. Typically, the person driving it isn't as super as they think they are and you don't want that hindering the car's potential.

Same goes for the high performance exotics including the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Ferrari Enzo, BMW M5/M6, and the Bugatti Veryron. Most of these cars only come in a paddle shift manual transmission and they perform drastically better than their 6 speed stick shift counterparts. Some of these cars don't even offer stick, and the ones that do are usually only for special orders.
