Hi there,

I signed up to ask this question, and to come to a place where I could get info on nissans, etc

Im hoping someone here can tell me the PSI of the turbo unit in a 1988 350Z car, some guy had a fire and he's looking to part out the car

any info on this year would be greatfully appreciated

Thanks in advance

PS if anyone's interested in the car let me know, no ones got to it yet

Thats a really tough and technical question. Try an old / historic Z forum. 7 psi?

why exactly do you want the "psi" out of curiosity? and fyi, it is a 300zx in 88. They have garret T-3's with internal wastegate and put out between 4-5psi of boost stock. They allegedly can boost to around 17psi, but aren't really efficient after 10psi.

hm thought it put out more though, stock. still, not bad

what kind of car? I'm using two turbos out of Chrysler 2.2 powered cars on one of my mustangs. They are overly abundant on e-bay and in junkyards. I just bought one last friday for 25 dollars from ebay.

dude, you're doing the exact same thing as me. tell me a little about your setup or what you're planning on doing. if you haven't been there, go to www.turbomustangs.com It is by far the best site on the net for turboing mustangs.

I'm flipping some shorty headers forward and welding some T3 flanges on them then clocking and bolt on the turbos then modify a 650 holley dp for blow through. you doing a blowthrough carb or EFI setup? if EFI, I have distributor you need and I need an 85 distributor for my setup

oh and btw, i think 2 of those 300zx turbos would do the job on your setup, probably capable of 450-500hp (don't quote me on that) and as you probably know stock 302 blocks split around 500-600hp.

btw, 85's and 86's are my favorite fox body mustangs. I miss my 86
