2016 Paris Motor Show Coverage

Quote:
Its September which means were back in Europe to take in the hottest new reveals and concept cars. In Paris you can expect cars from your favourite luxury automakers like the new BMW 5 series sedan and X2 crossover, or the new Mercedes GLC43 Coupe or AMG GT Roadster. Even Land Rover is getting in on the show with a new Discovery. There are also rumors of a new VW EV to hit the show, in order to distract people from that whole TDI scandal.

You can also expect many high end cars and exotics to make a splash, with Ferrari looking to make a big deal about its 70th anniversary. Keep your eyes peeled right here for all the details.

The Super Moderator is too modest. He forgot to mention that Nissan will be changing automotive history today Oct 1 2016 at the Paris Auto show. They will be introducing the world's 1st production internal combustion engine that varies the compression ratio on every part of the stroke. How does it do this? The connecting rods are more than 1 piece. The angles change and thus the amount of air volume compression within the cylinder. The other manufacturers are sweating bullets over this because it means an increase in gas mileage of over 25%. Imagine V6 engines will now get over 50 miles to the gallon. GM are working on an engine that will act like a diesel some of the time and act like a gasoline engine the rest of the time, but Nissan have beat them to market.
