Yeah, that price is crazy. That car is crazy. I think it looks like a wannabe G35 coupe and Pontiac G6 coupe mixed together. For the money, I would go with a used g coupe.
I never thought they would build it either. At least they keep giving us something to talk about.

Oh no... and you own a nissan!

G6? slappings should be received....

If having four wheels and two doors makes it look like a G6 then yes.

Dont make me brake out my toyota solara vs G6 tailight picture I use to highlight the validity of (G6/Scion/Altima all look the same) conversations. Maybe you 4 Door/Baby Seat having sedan owners just dont like the idea one is available now. The Altima Coupe is a very pretty car. Id be mad if a sentra coupe came out in 2004.

If nissan says a V6 coupe is available for $24,500 like it shows on their webpage then it trumps all coupes in its class in value and specs. Well done Nissan. The 30k price was a loaded one and used in the conversation about people buying them and rebadging it as a G35. (which is dumb even without the price issue...)

speaking of which... I see ups just pulled up. I wonder if my M45 badges are in for my Sentra....

No they aren't. Skyline is and is going to be a different car. Different look, different motor, different set up, they are not the same, not even in Japan. I hate it when I see someone with a G sedan, and rebadge it skyline with that stupid 350GTR on the rear. It is a G35, not a Skyline. I have a G coupe and get disgusted by fake wannabe skylines.....

When the REAL skyline comes out, it's gonna make these posers look very stupid and make people who don't know, think there are different models and trims of the skyline.

You say it's pretty...that's your opinion and your entitled to it. I dont like it. It looks like a wannabe. That's not to say a G6 looks bad. both the G35 and G6 were here first.so its like the altima coupe is copying them and if I wanted a coupe I would've bought a G35 coupe. My SER looks better than last gen G sedan...to me, so I got what I wanted.

May you should take a look at this...Nissan Skyline - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oh yes my friend, G35 IS a Skyline...may not a GTR, but it is a Skyline. All we talk about in the states is the GT-R variants but that Skyline badge has been around for a while.

enh, you got to it first.

Im doubting someone who is passionate about cars and claims to own a G35 coupe and doesnt realize it's called a Nissan Skyline everywhere else on the globe.

Are you seeing 350GT badges or GT-R? If GT-R badges are what you are seeing then yes, that is stupid. 350GT is what the standard skyline coupe is using in Japan. (aka G35c)

Nissan isnt even going to call the GT-R a skyline when it gets to the United States... talk about identity confusion. Im not sure they are going to call it a skyline in japan either.

Even though Skyline doesnt exude masculinity I think it was a marketing error by nissan not to use it. Even more so now that the GT-R is coming.

..as for the altima coupe. I was behind one the other day. If anyone should be mad about model design theft it should be the 350Z owners. I might go as far as to say it's more attractive than the Z looking at the front straight on.

Im looking forward to a SE-R model of that car in the near future. I hear suspension is suspect on the current ones. The outcome of that car will decide if I purchase a used 2006 G35 or a new altima coupe se-r next summer.

Yeah, like the other people have said, the Altima was never intended to be quick little sports coupes. They were family oriented sedans. They are still rather quick for a four door sedan though, especially the SE-R. With some suspension mods, they handle around the same as some sporty little cars, such as Civics and stuff.
