Nissanclub.com 2006 Website Changes Poll

Dear Nissanclub Users,

Thank you for visiting the website and your support of this Nissan club.

We are interested in hearing some feedback regarding the future changes that we plan on making to the site.

Please take a second and vote.

The following changes are proposed:

A) Upgrade the board software and fix the search function and improve overall usability / function of the forum

B) Redesign the look of the forum / site with functionality in mind, make things simple

C) Add a full content management system to the site where members or writers can submit their own articles with pictures.

D) Add new functions, perhaps personal blog-type functions, better vbgarage and etc.

You can start by having the search function working without a hitch. Also some of the links with step by step instructions don't work. They should be available so we don't have the same redundant threads. Maybe have a car ranking system. All in all I love this site.

personally, I think the site looks great. Though, from your choices, i love:

Whatever improvements you choose will make the good even better. Although the search function is sticky sometimes (could use a little improvement), the overall layout of this site is pretty organized and clean. Most of Nissanclub is intiuitive and easy to use, moreover, the ads here are placed as unobtrusively as possible. *Some* websites (which will remain nameless lest they be turned into *******.com/org/net, nevertheless, include Lexus, Honda, Nissan, and other car clubs) are so fvcking poorly designed/layed out and have such gawdy, intrusive advertising that it is annoying to navigate them. So keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing whatever improvements you have in mind.

Improvment of the search function and scrapping vbGarage in favor of the old-style registry would both be excellent changes for the new year.

Please integrate a wiki so we can develop better FAQs and modlists. I was planning on doing one on an external site but if you'd integrate that would be better!

I like B) & C). I always like when the search function works. lol And for the love of GOD please bring the registry back. If I had to choose 2 things it would have to be the registry and seach function working. Personally I think the site layout is fine. If you need smileys I have a collection in my photobucket account. lol
