2009-2010 Maxima Spy Shots

Saw this link to The Car Connection on Autoblog. Winter testing spy shots of the new Maxima being unveiled next month in New York. It's pretty well covered, but from what I can tell it looks pretty sharp. From the A-pillar forward, especially the nose, I see a big resemblance to the GT-R (vertical grille, upper and lower intakes, headlights that pull back up the front fenders). From the C-pillar back, I see a resemblance to the current Altima. The tail lights and the side of the car look similar to those on that concept sedan Nissan came out with a while back, the teal blue one that looked like a cross between an Avalon and an Altima... i forget the name. Anywho, check 'em out, I'm eagerly awaiting it's unveil.

Yeah, of the few things you can see clearly, I'm loving the wheels.

Just by looking at the curvature, the back end looks almost like a 3rd gen, but it could be different when you actually look at it. Interesting. I doubt it'll go with a supercharger. But AWD might be in the works.

looks like it might have some altima styling in it, the bulge and big snout could be part of the camo...maybe it is a mule with a V8...that would be nice, they should just go ahead and make it RWD with a v8 (I wish)

It's going to be another half gen with subtle changes. Like a 7.5th gen.

Hell, Pontiac has already done the V8/RWD/Sedan with the G8 GT. Nissan needs to step up! Need to start demanding atleast a 4.5L Powered RWD sedan, maybe a 5.6L SE-R model or something.

yeah my alti might disappear when the G8 is around....i've been waiting for a powerful V8 sedan with RWD for a long time that I could actually afford, it's got a 400hp 6.0 V8 and will run about 29K..it's pretty much going to be in it's own class, all the other sedans in that range are FWD V6, an it will be available with a 6MT, a 5.6L max would be perfect
