Is it ok to install window tint in cold weather?

I'd like to get tint on my car windows but is it ok to do in the cold? I live in Ohio, it is now getting into the 20s and may be in single digits in a few months. I had heard that letting the car set in the sunlight helps the curing process, but will the cold dry weather hinder it? Thanks for your help!

it will be ok just dont roll the windows down for like a week instead of the usual 3 days. the longer you leave the windows undisturbed the better. the cold weather wont help it cure but it will be fine you will just have to wait longer to roll down the windows

I don't see myself rolling down the windows when it's this cold anyway. Thanks for your help.

Anyone else have an opinion? I would just ask the tinting company myself, but I'm afraid they'd be biased with their answer and tell me "everything will be ok" only because they want my $.

It is safe to do it in the cold, however when you get your car tinted I would highly recommend somewhere that will offer a lifetime warranty (they usually only ask that you use tint safe window cleaners-no windex). I've also had a few friends who have had tint crack or pell randomly and their shop would always take care of it without question. And like everyone said don't roll you windows down for a longer amount of time than usual. When I tint or re-tint my windows (I like to change it, so sue me) I will usually put a little piece of electrical tape over the switches in the whole car to remind myself and anyone else sitting in my car to not roll down the windows.

I tinted mine last January. Took longer to cure, but no issues otherwise. Just keep the windows up!
