OK, Let's set Active Tuning's struts aside for the moment.. too expensive.
That leaves Monroe and KYB GR-2, as far as I can tell. Any others, please let me know. Anyone install the GR2s or the Monroe struts on their 3rd gen alti yet? What do you think of them? With or without aftermarket springs (Sportlines, etc.)?
Going to install new springs, either sportlines, H&R, or Progress (undecided), and will upgrade the struts and shocks also. '02, 2.5S.
Any feedback/knowledge/experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Im wondering the same thing, but aren't those GR2's (and probably Monroe's too) just stock REPLACEMENTS? And not an considered and aftermarket upgrade? Thats what i always thought.

That sucks, I have the rear agx adjustables and I want the Koni fronts but I hate the idea of handing over so much money until you mail in your stocks for a rebate. Kyb needs to come out with front AGX adj.
I am upgrading to sportlines and wondering myself what shocks to get with them, everyone is telling me that the KYB's are not worth it and won't last.......anyone having problems with KYB's....[/SIZE]
ya ya ya.....Like I was saying anyone having problems with those KYB's, I am upgrading to Sportlines and trying to find some upgrades from my OEM struts...
same here, i already have sportlines and lemme tell you the ride quality sucks major cock, every hardbumb you see ahead you just feel the pain in your ass before you even hit it, and then you hit it and wonder why you dropped your car soo damn low...on that note anything cheaper than the AT struts\shocks considered aftermarket?
