20x9 Axis Matrix Rims

Hello Everyone,

First, I wanted to know if anyone out there has these rims on their Altima?

Second, Axis says that these rims will fit, but I am a little skeptical. Has anyone physically measured the distance from the rear hub surface to the inner rear fender lip? It seems like I remember something in the neighborhood of 3.25", but I am not 100% confident. Anyway, to make a long story short, I am kinda torn between 20x9 rims +38mm offset wrapped wit 245/35/20 Toyo T1R tires or 19X8 +35mm offset wheels. Do you guys think that these rims will fit my SE-R? By the way, I also have coilovers, so i have some room to play with.

eh, he might be able to clear the wheels if he lifts those coilovers up.. but the wheels will stick out further than the fenders, fo' sho'.

Actually, with a bit of camber in the rear and 225/35/20 tires, you can fit the 20x9s...

yeah... sounds like it could work... but if you have a system in the back and fat passengers, no.

It really isnt. It's a slight stretch, but it fits. I had 235s on my 9.5s that got stolen, and I have 225s on the 20x9s on my Lincoln.

Wow, got a pic of that?
Doesn't seem like much rubber protecting that rim.
A 225mm section width seems too narrow for a 9" wide wheel...

I don't have a pic of the 225s on my 20x9s here at work, but heres a 245 on a 19x10 Work Euroline DH (pretty much the same proportionally)

Thanks NYC03Alti.
I think that's way too much rim exposed on those pics. On my truck, I have 295's on my 15x10" rims and wouldn't dream of going any smaller.

Eh, you seem to know about tires/wheels so I won't preach to the choir.
Just don't let your personal preference get in the way of your safety.
Btw...nice wheels!
