Wow.... As much as I hate the road noise, that's a great price considering that they were charging close to 300 for a number of years....

Exactly! I just put them on and they seem to be good. The dealership charged me $159.00 to install, balance, and align. The grip is awesome! VG What did you replace your tires with?

I'm at 17k on our S03's. They have been great tires even with the road noise..... The price you found is very tempting... I have a friend that goes to PIR... Portland International Raceway that swears by the tires on the track.

Our current set will probably make it till 25 k or so, but I might have to stash away a set of these given the great price.....

Good find and thanks for posting it.

I will have to disagree. The potenzas sounds a lot. But they are greaper. Now I have Toyo T1R 245/40/18 with no road noise and good cornering grip. But the potenzas had a great grip. I'm planing to buy the Potenzas RE01 for the next set of tire when the time came up.

I have 31k on my SE R and this is my first new set of tires. So keep rotating them and you will get the most out of them. They do have awesome grip.

The tires are pretty good but it has to be in the right situations ... here in Vancouver it rains a lot and these tyres ... are not good in the wet ... in hot dry weather ... these tyres grip like no other ... too bad my area has little to none of this ... so I'm probably going to go with the Eagle F1s next since they look to be great in wet weather ...

The Potenza S-03 Pole Position is a Max Performance Summer tire that was developed to meet the needs of the drivers of high performance sports cars, coupes and sedans by bringing Bridgestone's F1 tire technology and design to the streets while blending dry and wet traction without abandoning comfort and wear. The Potenza S-03 Pole Position features Bridgestone's UNI-T AQ II Technology that uses advanced compound and construction features to enhance and preserve wet traction through the tire's life. The Potenza S-03 Pole Position provides max performance that lasts, however like all summer tires, it is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

On the outside, the Potenza S-03 Pole Position molds a Super Long Link Carbon Black, Dual Layer Tread II compound into a directional tread design that features notched shoulders, large "High Nose" intermediate tread blocks (that are shaped like the side view of a "high nose" F1 car) and a continuous center rib to provide quick dry road response and handling. Super Slant 3D grooves help direct and evacuate water through the tire to resist hydroplaning. The continuous center rib also helps reduce noise while providing constant road contact to enhance straight-line stability. Internally, the Potenza S-03 Pole Position features Bridgestone's Computer Optimized Component System which blends twin steel belts with spiral-wrapped Jointless Cap & Layer Construction which stabilize the tread area to enhance handling, high-speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight.

I agree that these tires are good to avoid hydroplaning but traction in the rain

They are great on dry pavement, but suck on snow or rain...... I love the grip on dry pavement since my move down to Texas.

Those tires are cheap. dont recomend those for anything but burn outs. I run BFGoodrich G-force TA/KDW. low noise and they stick like chewing gum on the bottom of a school desk. Great in the rain. and a realy cool "foot print"
