I kno this question has been asked over n over n ive used the search option, but w/ so many different options available its hard to figure out wat to do.
as of now im planning on purchasing se-r front n rear sway bars.
i am also planning on lowering the car. but it seems like its goin to be expensive(since ill need shocks, struts, springs, labor, n alignment). so here's my question what is the best way to go about this. should i just install springs on the oem shocks struts(will they last a few months?) then buy aftermarket shocks/struts? or should i do it all at once?
im looking for a tight suspension, but i want the ride to be comfortable still. so what would be the best combo to go w/? im really not lookin to spend a ton of money though.
any help would be great
thnx

just save up and buy all the parts and get it all done at once. sure your stock shocks/struts will hold up for a little while, but who knows for how long? some ppl i kno have gotten away with it for a full year, but it varies.
once they go out, you will have to pay for the new aftermarket parts to be installed again, so why pay twice for labor? just get it done right the first time

If you're going with a mild drop, i.e. Eibach Pro-kit, you'll be fine with the stock struts/shocks. I've had mine in for well over a year and they still function fine. Anything more aggressive might give you problems sooner, but the pro-kit doesn't have too much affect on them.
And you can easily do it yourself if you have the tools. Too bad you're not a little closer and I'd help you out. You can rent the compressor at Autozone for free, the rest is just a bunch a bolts.
Front sway bar will be a pain, so I'm assuming you're having that installed. I've heard it isn't much thicker, but I don't know the dimensions.
yea im having the front sway bar installed. i think stock is 19mm n se-r is 24 mm. br isnt that far from me.
im constantly in hammond visiting my g/f n i go to BR to visit friends n go to the mall often. so you think if i bought the kit youd' be able to help me install it? id be willing to pay ya.
let me kno
Depends on how worn your existing struts are. If there's life left in them, then install the new springs until they (struts) wear out, then replace with a higher performance strut if you want. If you do the installs yourself, you don't pay any extra in labor, but you have to know what your time is worth to you.
