to each his own, but IMO the stock se-r 225/45's are too small. if you look at the stock 3.5 se tires (215/55/17) they come in at 26.3" tall where as the se-r tires come in at 26.0" so going to a 26.7" tire (245/45) is not that big of a deal. believe it or not, the bigger tires actually correct the speedo issue so that when it says you are going 60 you are actually going 60. but like i said, so each his own.

I finally updated my picture. It's hard to tell, but gives the idea. These are the 225/45's. I never spin my tires, I just accelerate hard at times. They only lasted two summers, at about 8,000 miles a summer. I'm hoping these 245's will last around 25,000 miles all together. $1,000 for a set of summer tires is a bear when you're trying to save up for a boat. I'll get my Tige soon enough
