You have more grip on the road because the front tires are slightly bigger than stock...I guarantee you have less tire contacting the pavement in the back though...

not over stocks but if i would went with 20x8.5 it probaly is.....i really do agree it look odd....but i like it cause it different i didnt want to do the samething that everyone does were i live....i seen alot altima in black with 20" black on black i want to stand out which it does....but i do think 20 x8.5 with a drop would look alot better tho

man, Im sorry, but thats just not right.......I agree, nice rims but really watch your self on high speed cornering, back wheels wont do as they should, cause they arent as they should!

The people at the tire and wheel place should have told you this wasn't a good idea.

You can't rotate them. Plus, if you load the car up with people, I can guarantee you those are going to rub on the fender and possibly cut the tire.

A 20x8 with the right offset would have been sweet, AND you could have lowered it.

Those things have to weigh 60lbs. + each.

well guys im goin back to the rim place tomorrow to see i change the rear wheel in 20x8.5 cause the guy said it fitand its rubbing with ppl in backseat like you guys said it would...so since the guy did tell me it wont rub im goin to get change.....

if/when you get those changed and if you keep the 255 on the rear...post some pics??? i'd really like to see what the 255's would look like in the rear with 8.5" wide wheels?? if possible, post some pics!!

naw that aint possible that to wide for that wheel im going 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 in back tomorrow i post pictures... or maybe 225/35/20

everyone go back to the first page i fix the offset it little more flush ... they put the wrong offset at the shop....sevas fix it for me it more flush with this offset

A 255 tire is definitely not too wide for an 8.5 inch rim. Would fit nice without that stretched & pulled look.

I run 245/40's on my 8 inch wide 19 inch rims. NO problems at all.
