Anybody Ridin' 20s in NYC or Boston?

Just wondering if anybody has been brave enough to ride 20s in cities with awful roads like NYC or Boston? I'm trying to decide if I want to play it safe with 18s or stick with the 20s.

What about 19s? I was contemplating whether to get 20's too. I ended up getting 18's. It's a comfortable ride but sometimes I wish I got 19's. I did hear on a post that they crack more easily than 20's but idk if that's a fact.

I used to ride on 20s in LA. Streets are pretty bad too. I bent one really bad on a huge pothole that crept up on me. I downgraded to 18s and the ride is so much better. I haven't even contemplated going back.

If he hasn't had any issues with his 19's on Hawaii roads, then 19's should be fine for off-roading.

By the way I've been wondering what ftw stands for? I have 18x8 tsw vortex in chrome. They're nice. I got faced rims b/c I think they look bigger than rims with lips. Even though I think rims with lips look nice. People sometimes ask me if I have 19's on. I guess they look bigger. Lol. I am running 225/45/18. They seem perfect for the rims. I wanted 235/45/18 but they cost a little more I think. And I also figured if I got 225, then the tire would be a lil slimmer and it would save a tiny bit of weight and a lil less friction so an unnoticable but better gas milage? I just went with them.

Bolt pattern for the Altima is 5 x 114.3.
Offset is +45.

A RWD mustang wheel on a FWD Altima....don't think that will work for you.

I got 20's go through brooklyn, queens all over and so far i'm lucky and nothing has happened to them... i've hit some pretty bad pot holes too. I just take it slow and try to miss as much as i can. running 245/35/20ZR on them so.

20's in NYC is risky , you better drive slow and try to avoid potholes !!!

So I decided to just get better tires (Toyo Proxe 4) than what came with my rims (Clear Z-Rated). I already notice the smoother ride...it doesn't feel like I'm going to bend a rim everytime I go over a bump. I should have gone with 19s or 18s but I didn't want to spend another $1500 and then worry about selling my 20s...too much of a headache!
