To powdercoat or not to powdercoat.

Hi, i just bought a set of g35 18" rims for only 300 w/the front tires. Although i thought it was a good price, there are a few curb rashes on the rims. My question is, which would look better...if i powdercoated them black, or just keep the oem silver color. If i did get them black it wouldn't be a flat or glossy black, just a satin. And if theres any1 that has had experience in any type of powdercoating please share, as i dont know much about it and the quality, cost etc compared to painting it. Thanks for your input.

PS. these are going on my white 03 altima.

powder coating is very durable , its baked on . color is a personal decision !!! you have to live with the color .
