Don't you wish that the OEM would coat calipers with something more durable when they are made. There is no reason that they have to corrode and look like a$$ after 3 or 4 years. The front caliper on my son's dirt bike looks better than these things do from the factory. They stick 17" rims on there with big openings so that you can clearly see the guts beneath....except after a few years it looks like s#!t...and then we have to paint them. Everyone living near the coast or in road salt areas know what I mean

NO RICE PARTS!!!

Painted calipers are the way to go.

It takes just as long to paint them as it would to put that crap on there.

Get the DupliColor brush on kit. It comes with everything needed, and has enough left over to do a couple cars with multiple coats each.
It goes on smooth too and doesn't have that "sprayed on" look.

You can paint it while it's still on the car, no removal necessary except for your wheels of course.

Jack up the front, remove both wheels. Paint one side, paint the other. Repeat x 3. Put wheels back on careful to not touch the calipers.
Repeat with rear. Let them sit a few hours to dry a bit. Driving around lightly should help cure it after several hours of sitting.

The nice part is, the paint works like a nice enamel, so you can easily wash them with a brush, cloth or spray them with cleaner and it doesn't fade, peel or chip.

The paint on my Corvette's calipers has been on a few years now and looks brand new every time I wash it.

Good product!!
