2005 Altima 2.5SL Tire suggestion.

Hey guys,

I own an 2005 Altima 2.5 and I would like to get some new tires since mine are dead

Looking for something a little more aggressive.....somewhere along the lines of a 225/5x/16 mark (good prices) <---------If that will even fit, I have no idea that's why I'm here lol.

If that size will fit, any suggestions as to the tire (not to expensive now :P ), or alternative size/tire setup.

Thanks everyone in advance for the help,

monnewbie.

P.s Stocker rims!! lol

I'm in the same boat right about now, with the same model. Actually the OE tires have been very good (a 55K tire and we have 67K on them and they are just now beginning to show the indicator), so I'm not sure if I should stick with the same ones or is there something better? My wife drives the car, regular city, suburb and highway driving, not a hellraiser so to speak

The dealer has OE tire available at $102 each but has recommended either a Firestone 380 (70K tire for $75) or the Bridgestone Turanza (80K tire for $93). Did a search on both alternates and getting some mixed/strange reviews. Most reviews were fom people who had them on other make cars, not the Altima, so I'm not sure who to trust or if people are just posting bogus reviews or have a hidden agenda.

Just wondering what others have done when it was time to get that first set replaced and their experiences.

I put on a set of Yokohama TRZ tires last year and they're incredible.

I heard there's a great set of Falken tires which fit the altima, but I couldnt find a falken reseller in my area. Definitely recommend yokohama though...
